Learn the polite progressive form (ています) for formal ongoing actions and states.
The polite progressive form (ています - te imasu) is the formal version of ている. Use it in the same situations where you'd use polite ます form.
Formation(作り方)
Te-form + います:
今、会議をしています。
いま、かいぎをしています。
ima, kaigi wo shiteimasu.
I am in a meeting right now.
